Emap, a publishing company based in Peterborough required a senior developer to oversee the transition of a number of their core publications (Motorcycle news, Practical Photography and Car Magazine) to an EpiServer content management system.

My Role

As senior developer I was tasked with planning and developing custom EpiServer controls and designing and implementing data migration plans from a number of disparate systems, including Oracle and MySql, in to SQL Server. Working in an agile environment allowed me to agree key deliverables and dates with all of the stakeholders and various development teams to ensure a smooth transition.
